Address changes are also taken in person at Deputy Registrar license agencies. Correcting Incorrect Information on an Ohio Registration Record

Corrections to a certificate of title follow a separate review process. If the mileage, vehicle identification number (VIN), or brand information is incorrect due to a county error, the owner contacts the Clerk of Courts title office that issued the title. If the error resulted from a customer or dealer error, the request is reviewed by the BMV Title Support Section, which requires a notarized statement of fact describing the error and, for mileage corrections, an odometer disclosure statement. Ohio Deadlines for Vehicle Registration Changes
